Task
ASSIGNMENT 1
MY SPACE
In this assignment, we were required to investigate a selected three-dimensional space that we have chosen with specific instruments, correct finishing of the drawing and graphical techniques.
A) Measurement, we are required to select and measure a space in our house (personal space - bedroom / study room) with current furniture layout.
B) Scale, Scale chosen shall be of the common scales ; 1:5, 1:10, 1:20, 1:25, 1:50, 1:100 and etc.
C) Drawings, to be produced inclusive : 1 floor plan (with furniture) , 2 internal elevations (longitude and horizontal) , 1 section, and 1 set of detailed drawings of a loose furniture.
D) Title Block, we are required to draw the same title block as our first assignment.
Progression
In this assignment, we were required to draw a 3-dimensional space that we have chosen. Firstly, We have to measure our selected space. After measuring we have to select a certain scale depending on how big is the selected area. For example, I used 1:50 since if I would have used 1:25 then the drawings won't fit the title block. As required we have to draw 1 floor plan, 2 internal elevation, 1 section, and 1 set of detailed drawing of a loose furniture.
OUTCOME
REFLECTION
Life Long Learning
This assignment required me to learn about how to draw my room. In this assignment, I've gained long life learning. I will get to use on how to draw a floor plan when I proceed to my degree. I've been taught how to draw by our lecturer , Mr Akmal.
Intrapersonal Skills
Through this assignment, I have gained intrapersonal skill. By doing this assignment I get to know how to draw my own room by myself. I've never drawn any type of room before so this assignment has taught me a lot on how to draw a floor plan.
Problem Solving Skills
This assignment has taught me problem solving skills. At first I'm not really sure on how to draw my own personal space. After the lecturer showed us how to draw our specific space I then know how to draw my room.
